We have a varied programme of graded walks ranging from shorter flatter routes right up to big hills and munros (hills over 3000 feet) so there's sure to be something that will suit your level of fitness.
Interested? well why not come along and join us for a walk and enjoy the good company and fresh air.
It is your responsibility to be fit enough, suitably dressed and equipped to come on a walk. This means wearing suitable footwear ie boots or heavy walking shoes ( no trainers etc) and either wearing or carrying warm clothing and wet weather clothing. Also bring enough food and drink to last what may be several hours walking.
The walk leader has the right to refuse anyone who is not suitably equipped to take part in the walk.
You may take part in four walks before you decide whether to join.
And you can find out more about the Ramblers Association and join by going to the Ramblers main website.
Joining the Ramblers entitles you to walk with any other Ramblers group in Britain.
Walkers from any other groups are more than welcome to join in our walks, but please check the grade of the walk to ensure you are fit enough to take part and wear the correct clothing etc.
The meeting point for all walks unless otherwise stated will be the car park for East Ayrshire Council Offices, London Road, Kilmarnock, KA3 7BU at 8.50am to leave at 9.00am sharp. Please meet promptly, in order to arrange lifts for those without transport.
Any different start times will be in This Weeks Walk page on the Ramblers website.
Car sharing operates for travelling to and from the walks and a contribution of 35p a mile is shared by the passengers in the car.
